Role Definition
Perform day-to-day execution of hardware and software management tasks for end-users. Ensuring that users have the tools they need to be productive while maintaining compliance and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire hardware lifecycle, from request processing and procurement to installation,
configuration, and deployment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, track asset details, and coordinate repairs and replacements with
vendors.
- Manage the software lifecycle, including request processing, license allocation, and deployment of
applications on end-user devices.
- Ensure proper software license utilization by verifying user eligibility, monitoring usage, and ensuring
compliance with licensing terms.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all hardware and software assets, including their location,
configuration, maintenance status, and lifecycle changes.
- Ensure adherence to hardware and software policies through communication, training, and enforcement,
escalating violations as needed.
Qualification
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, software licensing, or a similar role.
- Experience with managing hardware and software lifecycles, including procurement, installation, configuration, and deployment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in IT asset management tools and software.
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Familiarity with software licensing processes and compliance.
- Experience with data gathering and reporting tools.
- Understanding of IT service level agreements and IT standards, procedures, and policies.
- Basic understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) concepts and technologies.
